REFLECTION ON PERSONALITIES..

 1) CHARLES BABBAGE:  He was an English mathematician, economist, and inventor. He is known as the father of computers, he invented difference engine and analytical engine.

Reflection: I studied him and his work in the ninth and eighth standard.

2) ENGELBART DOUGLAS: He was an American Engineer. He invented the computer mouse, he was a Pioneer of modern information technology.

Reflection: The mouse is a really helpful invention through which we are able to point out things on the screen.

3) HOPPER GRACE: She was a groundbreaking American computer programmer. She invented the first compiler ( a program that translates programming code into machine language). She also taught Maths.

Reflection: like her, I also wanted to teach Maths, and her invention of compiler really helped programmers today.

4) ADA LOVELACE: She's the world's first computer programmer. She's known for her work on Charles Babbage programmed machine analytical engine.

Reflection: I studied programming language in the 12th standard. I really enjoyed making programs.

5) SINCLAIR CLIVE: He was a British innovator and businessman who introduce computers in UK homes. He also invented a pocket calculator, digital wristwatches. 

Reflection: pocket calculators and wristwatches are so handy and it makes our life easier.

6) TURING ALAN: He was a British mathematician. He developed a Turing machine that could perform any Maths problem ( have human-like behavior ). 

Reflection:  his work really makes everyone's life easy while doing Maths. His contribution to Computer Science really amazed me.

7) VON, NEUMANN JOHN: He was a Hungarian American Mathematician and computer scientist. He developed a model for storing sums and logic work named as computer's memory. ( control unit, Arithmetic Logic Unit)

Reflection: i learned about computer memory ( his program) in 9th and 8th standard.

REFLECTION

REFLECTION 1  24th August 2021 This was the introduction class, we discussed this Teaching of English course; what is this course about, and what we are going to learn. Then we discussed that there are four key learning areas in any profession. After that, we had a short discussion on what is receptive and productive skills.  Then we talked about two websites BBC learning and British Council Learn English Kids. Then we discussed the difference between parents and guardians. We also got to know about FRC (family registration certificate), and juvenile card that is for children under 18.

  Artificial Intelligence:              It is the ability of a machine to perform tasks like humans do and think like a human. we are using artificial intelligence in everyday life like using google maps or using face id for unlocking our phones and the most common is autocorrect or text editor to check our mistakes or any error.  Central Processing Unit:            CPU is the central processor or primary component that receives data and processes instructions. In simple; the CPU is the brain of a computer that performs all the functions.
